Ensign Peak

Our First ascent of the season.

Hopefull the first of seven.

 We forgot to check Hannah's shoes before we left and found she was wearing crocs that were too big without socks. Socks are way underappreciated.

Brigham Young climbed this peak after entering the valley. He knew this was where the saints should settle because he had seen Ensign Peak in a dream.

The view of the valley and the surrounding mountains is impressive.

Balsam root was starting to bloom. A sure sign of spring.

Next up: Little Mountain. The balsam root will hopefully be in full bloom.

Luke's goat made the trip too!
