Then we got to go to the new Natural History Museum. It was really fun. We were there for 2 hours and didn't have time to explore all we wanted. But as Mike always reminds me, it always good to leave somethings undone so you can enjoy it again, and we will be back.
Hannah getting a kiss from a stuffed Porcupine.
Clara the praying mantis.
I liked the wall of skulls.
The giant footprint is still around.
Digging for bones is always a hit, especially for aspiring paleontologists.
Because it was opening weekend, we got to go in some of the back rooms that aren't usually open to the public. We really liked the slimy things room.
Look at those cool snakes.
Reminded us of Prof. Snape's office, shelves of jars with things floating in them.
Charlotte enjoyed her first stroller ride sans carseat. It went well until about half way through when we had to switch to the bjorn. I'm sure the whole museum was wondering at times about this crazy lady with four small children, and I was too occasionally. But we were glad to get out of the house and see a cool new museum.
