It's Official!

We are headed to Medford, OR.  Mike put the contract in the mail today! He has signed with Providence Medford Medical Center as their director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

So, I did one more trip after the "too many trips post" to Medford.  After much praying we have decided it is the place for us.  Mike won't start until the end of July, (it takes forever to get an Oregon license).  We will probably be moving sometime in July, if you know anyone who wants to buy our house, let me know.

"Where is Medford?" you may ask.  Right here...

It's about 2-3 hours to Eugene and another two to Portland and 2 to the beach.  Just over 12 hours in a car from Salt Lake and Delta runs a direct flight from SLC to Medford that's just under 2 hours.  (We are hoping for lots of visitors.)  It is a city of about 75,000 people (metropolitan area of about 200,000), with a LDS temple,  the Rogue River, lakes and mountains near by.

It's so exciting to be getting near the end of Mike's training.  It's been a long exciting ride, can't wait to take the next step.

That's wonderful! Good luck with the move/transition. When can we come visit? It doesn't look too far to Crater Lake which is high on the places I've always wanted to visit.

What a fabulous place to settle. Congratulations on a huge accomplishment. We'll be pulling for you. (Great Grandma English has a special fondness for Medford. G & G even went on the Rogue River!) We'll be visitors. Best of Luck

How exciting! Congratulations! We have always wanted to plan a trip to the Northwest, maybe now that we know someone up there, we will actually make it happen.
