Late one Saturday afternoon we decided it was time to get a tree. We found one just before it got dark and all we had were our cell phones for pictures. This is what we got. I think everyone is actually looking at the camera, too bad we didn't have more light and a better camera. Oh, well, next year.
We made Christmas trees out of ice-cream cones and frosting. (so much easier than gingerbread houses)

The girls performed at festival of trees with their singing group and we got to see Santa.
Luke was hesitant to sit on Santa's lap and hesitant would be a gross understatement for Charlotte.
We decorated our tree with clay ornaments, ribbons, pipe-cleaner candy canes and a few special ornaments near the upper part of the tree.
Clara is getting really good at "photo bombing."
And while most of you are shoveling snow, we are still shoveling leaves.
